Steve Miller is a veteran retail and digital executive known for leading large-scale transformation across iconic consumer brands. Before joining Impact Analytics as Chief Strategy Officer, he served on the Executive Leadership Team at DICK’S Sporting Goods, overseeing multi-billion-dollar businesses across merchandising, e-commerce, strategy, and analytics. During his tenure, DICK’S grew sales by 50% and tripled net income—performance fueled in part by Steve’s leadership in modernizing core businesses and in launching new growth engines, including the company’s outlet business, venture capital arm, and retail media network.
Prior to DICK’S, Steve led marketing, e-commerce, and pricing at JOANN Stores, and began his career advising leading global retailers as a consultant with McKinsey & Company’s Marketing & Sales practice.
Steve brings deep expertise in merchandising, pricing, digital innovation, and strategic planning, with a practical approach to transformation—focusing on quick wins that build momentum and drive long-term value. A two-time client of Impact Analytics, he is passionate about combining the art of retail with the power and science of AI to elevate decision-making and unlock sustainable growth.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Rollins College.
