Experienced retail executive deepens leadership bench for AI-native and Agentic AI pioneer

Impact Analytics drives efficiency and margin improvement across functions including assortment, allocation, sizing, planning, and price optimization.
Markus joins from his most recent role as Vice President at Capgemini Invent, where he led digital transformation initiatives for leading retail clients. He previously held senior leadership positions at NielsenIQ (Precima) and METRO AG, where he drove large-scale technology and data transformations that delivered tangible business impact.
With deep expertise in demand forecasting, allocation, assortment, pricing, and analytics—and extensive experience in AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, and cloud technologies—Markus is recognized as a trusted partner to retail executives across Europe. A frequent conference speaker, he is passionate about applying AI and data innovation to reimagine core retail processes and unlock new sources of value.
